No, you do not need a referral from your doctor to receive treatment at Denver Dry Needling. No commercial insurances will reimburse for dry needling at this point in time so all payments are direct and not through insurance.
The initial evaluation will be 90 minutes to include review of your medical history, movement analysis, establish goals of care, and initial treatment session. Follow up appointments after that will be dictated by the complexity and number of body areas treated, usually 30 to 45 minutes each.
Because dry needling is not covered commercial insurance, all payments are direct to Denver Dry Needling. Acceptable forms include cash, check (made out to Denver Dry Needling), PayPal, Venmo, Zelle. Credit card payments are not currently possible but may be coming soon. Many HSA accounts are eligible to cover these services (check with your HSA provider to verify).
